Tom pairs with the free TomTom app to deliver clear audio and on-screen alerts. You can also help keep the road picture accurate: report an incident, confirm it or dismiss it with a tap.
Getting started is simple:
- Requirements: Android 12 or iOS 18 or higher. Works with Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay®. No subscription required.
- In the TomTom app, go to Tom > Alert preferences to turn on:
- Speed camera alerts
- Traffic alerts
- Hazard alerts
- Speeding alerts
Power Tom on once and you're set. Leave it on in your car and it takes care of the rest: it goes to sleep when your car is parked and your phone is out of range, then wakes when it detects motion — so it's ready to go when you are.
